Danai Nesta Kupemba has joined BBC News as a London-based journalist.
Kupemba was an intern editorial assistant at the Financial Times and has worked on contract as a digital journalist and social media producer at Global. She freelanced as an entertainment writer at Cosmopolitan UK and interned at CNN and Rest of World.
She also contributed to POPSUGAR and freelanced for Al Jazeera.
Kupemba has a bachelor’s degree from Rhodes University in South Africa and a master’s degree in journalism from Kingston University in London.
