Jessica Parker, Brussels correspondent at BBC News, has been named Berlin correspondent.
Parker has been with BBC for more than a decade. Her previous posts include broadcast journalist for BBC Radio Solent, political reporter and reporter/presenter/senior broadcast journalist.
She then took on the posts of political correspondent, Westminster reporter and North America correspondent.
She has also worked at Global Radio.
Parker has a bachelor’s degree in history and English literature from the University of Leeds and an M.A. in broadcast journalism from City, University of London.
