BBC names O’Reilly video journalist/digital reporter

Gem O’Reilly

Gem O’Reilly has been appointed video journalist and digital reporter for BBC News and BBC World, covering global news.

Currently, O’Reilly is a broadcast journalist at BBC London, where she focuses on digital, TV and radio news. Before that, she served a broadcast journalist at BBC Stories & Trending, creating video, text and radio. She has also worked at BBC Breakfast.

She was also a radio reporter at Global.

O’Reilly graduated from the University of Salford in Greater Manchester.
