BBC names Kay U.S. special correspondent

Katty Kay

Katty Kay is rejoining the BBC as U.S. special correspondent for BBC Studios, hosting TV documentaries from the U.S. and Europe. She will also have her own podcast series and will write a weekly column.

Kay has previously worked at the BBC as BBC World News anchor, Washington correspondent, and Tokyo correspondent. She has recently worked at OZY Media. Kay was also a contributor and guest host for Morning Joe at MSNBC.

She was also a correspondent at The Times of London.

Kay said:

“I’m thrilled to join BBC Studios as it expands its global reach. I look forward to telling stories in new ways with longer-form reporting and documentary projects. This will be an exciting challenge for me and I couldn’t have better partners.”
