Dominic Hurst, special correspondents’ producer at BBC News, has left. His tweet reads:
“Personal news – after 30 years I’ve decided to leave the BBC. Today is my final day. It’s been an amazing experience travelling the world with fantastic colleagues working on some of the biggest news stories. But time for new challenges.”
In his new role, Hurst has moved into communications, specializing in the production of short films and videos, and providing media advice.
During his tenure at the BBC he held various posts, including broadcast journalist and senior producer for “Breakfast News.”
Hurst graduated from the University of Cambridge.
