BBC appoints Griffith Australia and New Zealand correspondent

Hywel Griffith

BBC has tapped Hywel Griffith to serve as Australia and New Zealand correspondent. Recently, he held the post of Wales correspondent.

Griffith has been with the BBC for more than 22 years.

He joined as a news trainee in September 2000. Since then, he has served as a broadcast journalist, senior broadcast journalist, Wales correspondent and Sydney correspondent.

Griffith has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Bristol and a master’s degree from Queen’s College, Cambridge.
