Bayer swaps Politico for The Guardian

Lili Bayer

Lili Bayer has joined The Guardian as Europe live blogger to cover news across Europe. She will be based in Brussels. She wrote on X/Twitter:

Recently, Bayer was at Politico Europe, where she worked for more than five years. There, she held the posts of budget reporter; transparency, lobbying and rule of law reporter, and recently served as senior reporter for NATO and central Europe.

She freelanced and interned at U.S. House of Representatives.

Bayer has a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and a master’s degree from the University of Oxford.
