She joins from Maryland Matters, where she covered state politics and governmental affairs.
She formerly reported on Maryland criminal justice for Capital News Services’ Annapolis bureau. There, she previously worked as a research and reporting assistant.
Gaskill has a B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University and a master’s degree from the University of Maryland.
