Norman Gomlak has joined the Baltimore Banner as a local news editor. Recently, he was deputy metro editor at the Houston Chronicle.
Previously, he served as South desk editor/night supervisor at The Associated Press. He also held editorial roles at Congressional Quarterly, the Baltimore Sun and the News & Observer in Raleigh, N.C. He was formerly a reporter at the Charlotte Observer.
Gomlak has a B.S. in journalism from Boston University.
