Ballou joins ABC News as producer

Jeff Ballou

ABC News has hired Jeff Ballou as a producer to produce daily packages and live shots. Recently, he was a news editor, the Americas at Al Jazeera.

Previously, Ballou was a planning editor at WTTG-TV Ch. 5, in Washington, D.C., which serves as the area’s Fox outlet, and was an assignment editor at C-SPAN.

He was also National Press Club president in 2017.

Ballou graduated from Penn State University.
