The Fort Worth Star-Telegram has hired Charles Baggarly as a high school sports editor and reporter. He will begin in July.
Recently, Baggarly served as head sports editor at Texas Christian University’s student paper, TCU 360, and covered the university’s baseball and volleyball as a beat reporter.
Baggarly wrote on Twitter:
“A big thank you to my journalism professors/peers. I made some mistakes along the way, and they made sure I grew from them.”
Baggarly has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and criminal justice from Texas Christian University.
