Erin Bacon, assistant editor at CQ, has been promoted to the post of editor on the legislative research team. Before that, she had served as a members reporter.
She has also interned at Solutions Journalism Network in New York, CQ Roll Call and The Charlotte Observer. She was also a national security reporter covering Capitol Hill for Medill News Service. She has also photographed for USA Today.
Bacon is a Northwestern University graduate.
