Axios has hired Carlie Kollath Wells as a reporter to cover New Orleans.
For the past nine years, Kollath been a breaking news reporter for NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune. She has covered criminal justice, weather, hurricane season, traffic and the general news of the day.
She co-created and ran a popular business blog for a daily newspaper in Mississippi and served as the digital editor of two trade magazines in New York.
Wells has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Mississippi.
