Attia joins New York Times as social editor

Sharon Attia

Sharon Attia has joined the social team at New York Times as a social editor.

Attia came from the gender desk and has helped to produce digital storytelling.

In her new role, she will continue to run the gender Instagram account and will also work closely with Climate on audience plans for its biggest enterprise.

Attia is also the chief researcher for book, “Feminist Fight Club” by New York Times journalist Jessica Bennett.

Attia is a graduate of New York University.
