Atlanta radio station hires Mecke as environmental journalist

Marisa Mecke

Marisa Mecke has joined WABE-FM 90.1 in Atlanta as an environmental journalist, a post she recently held at the Savannah Morning News, part of the Gannett | USA Today Network.

Before that, Mecke was an environmental journalist via Report for American at The Mountain Times, a weekly newspaper in North Carolina.

Mecke graduated from Davidson College in North Carolina.
