Lynne Anderson has joined the Atlanta Journal-Constitution as a weekend editor and coach. Previously, she worked at the Journal-Constitution from 1996 to 2007.
During that time, Anderson worked on nearly every desk, including metro, editorial, features and sports. She also served as bureau chief of DeKalb, Rockdale and counties East of Atlanta.
Recently, she served as editor of Virginia-based newspaper The Daily Progress. She also worked as a senior health and medical editor at The Conversation. She was editor in chief of the B2B magazine Story Worldwide.
Anderson has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
