Anushka Asthana will be joining ITV News as a deputy political editor.
Currently, she is editor-at-large at The Guardian and presents the “Today in Focus” daily podcast. She has also served as a political editor at the company.
Asthana also worked at the Observer for 8 years, holding various posts, including reporter, specialist, and working on the news desk. She also did a three-month stint at the Washington Post after she was awarded the Laurence Stern Fellowship.
She has also served as a political correspondent at The Times and Sky News.
Asthana is a BSc. in economics from the University of Cambridge.
