Anna Liz Nichols, a government reporter at The Associated Press, has left. Previously, she was a legislative reporting intern at the Michigan Advance. In a Twitter post, Nichols announced, “I’m taking a break to backpack Europe! … Looking forward to finding my next opportunity in reporting when I come back.”
She formerly worked as a social editor, podcast coordinator at The State News in East Lansing, Mich. She also interned at MLive.com.
Nichols graduated from Michigan State University.
