John D’Orlando, president and publisher of the Arizona Daily Star, has left after more than five years to join Wick Communications as chief operating officer.
In his new role, D’Orlando will oversee additional support and oversight to operations, transformative projects and financial execution.
Previously, he served as VP and advertising director of the Orlando Sentinel Media Group.
Commenting on his appointment, D’Orlando said:

D’Orlando graduated from Buffalo State University.
