Sahana Jayaraman has joined The Arizona Central as a data reporter on its investigative team. Jayaraman served as a data intern at The Washington Post, where she pitched data-driven stories among other tasks.
Jayaraman was a data reporter at the Howard Center for Investigative Journalism and held editorial roles, including serving as deputy managing editor of The Diamondback, the University of Maryland’s student newspaper.
Jayaraman has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and criminology/criminal justice from the University of Maryland.
