Bob Christie, a politics reporter at The Associated Press tweeted:
“After 17 years with The Associated Press as a political reporter and editor based in Phoenix, I worked my last shift this past week. It is bittersweet – this is the world’s best news organization and I hate to think I can no longer say ‘I am with the AP.’”
Previously, Christie served as interim Arizona news editor and day supervisor/editor, based in Phoenix at The Associated Press. He was also a city editor at the daily The Bakersfield Californian.
Christie graduated from California State University, Bakersfield.
