Andrews joins IndyStar as senior news director

Cindi Andrews

The Indianapolis Star has hired Cindi Andrews as senior news director.

Recently, she was executive editor at the Courier & Press and Southern Indiana regional editor at the Gannett USA Today Network.

She was a senior editor of politics at The Denver Post.

She was a reporter, opinion engagement writer/editor, business editor and investigative and enterprise editor at Enquirer Media. She was a reporter and copy editor at both the Cincinnati Enquirer and the News & Record in Greensboro, N.C.

She also worked for the Burlington Free Press and Frederick News-Post.

Andrews graduated from the University of Cincinnati.
