Anchorage Daily News promotes Ho to managing editor

The Anchorage Daily News in Alaska has appointed Vicky Ho as managing editor overseeing the daily operation of the newsroom across platforms. She was previously deputy editor, online.

She was formerly an evening editor at Steamboat Pilot & Today in Colorado. She was also a copy desk chief at The Daily Texan, the student paper of the University of Texas at Austin.

She was also a coach with the Poynter Institute’s Table Stakes program, helping local news outlets across the U.S. use performance-driven change to transition to sustainable digital publishing models.

Ho graduated from The University of Texas at Austin.
