Roberto E. Rosales, a photojournalist at the Albuquerque Journal, tweets:

“Some personal news. It is with a heavy heart that I’m being forced to leave the Albuquerque Journal, the paper I fought so hard to represent in New Mexico. It hurts to not see the great reporters I worked with. Not bad for a Latino who managed to swim in the big pool for 22yrs.”

Rosales is also a lecturer of photography and photojournalism professor at the University of New Mexico, where he joined in August 2011.
