Joyce Karam has joined Al-Monitor as a senior news editor. Karam was at The National UAE, where she worked as a Washington correspondent and recently, as a senior US correspondent.
Karam is an adjunct professor at George Washington University and was with London-based Al-Hayat Newspaper, where she worked for 14 years and served as Washington bureau chief.
Karam has a B.A. in journalism from Lebanese University and a master’s degree in international relations and affairs from Arcadia University in the Greater Philadelphia area.
