BBC News has appointed Nawal Al-Maghafi as an international correspondent for BBC Newsnight, in a new partnership with BBC World Service languages.
In her new role, Al-Maghafi will work on international coverage and deliver investigations from around the world. Previously, she was a special correspondent and documentary producer at the BBC.
She was also a news producer at Thomson Reuters.
Al-Maghafi graduated from the University of Nottingham.
