Jonathan Ahl has taken over the newscast editor and Rolla, Mo. correspondent role at St. Louis Public Radio, in which he will work with other colleagues to build on the quality of newscasts.
Recently, Ahl served as a Rolla correspondent, reporting on issues and events in Rolla and the surrounding area for St. Louis Public Radio.
Prior to joining the St. Louis Public Radio in 2018, Ahl was an instructor in the Department of Broadcasting and Journalism at Western Illinois University. He was also a news director at both Iowa Public and WCBU 89.9 FM, a public radio station owned by Bradley University, where he also worked as a reporter, announcer and producer.
Ahl has a B.A. from Western Illinois University and a M.A. from the University of Illinois Springfield.
