We are delighted to announce that Jessie Adams is joining The Post as our first photo licensing editor.
Jessie will be the photo team’s creative liaison for licensing photography for the newsroom, marketing, public relations and our business colleagues. She will guide our professional relationship with Getty Images, the agency that handles our original photography distribution beyond our news service. Jessie will provide a crucial link between the newsroom and business teams.
She has worked the last six years coordinating image licensing requirements for the newsroom, marketing and editorial staffs at Science magazine.
She is an instructional assistant at George Washington University, where she shares her knowledge of rights management with students pursuing master’s degrees in publishing.
Jessie is a California native who received her B.A. in global studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
