Nicola Adam has joined Blackpool Gazette, Johnston Press, as an editor. She comes from the BBC where she was a radio presenter.
She was also with JPIMedia for more than 8 years, joining as group editor of Lancaster Guardian, The Visitor (Morecambe), Lancaster and Morecambe Reporter, Rural Life magazine, lancasterguardian.co.uk & thevisitor.co.uk.
She then held the post of deputy editor of the Lancashire Evening Post and Blackpool Gazette. She was also group editor of Preston and Blackpool weekly newspaper titles.
Adam has also served as chief reporter – Lancaster edition, crime reporter, assistant news editor, deputy news editor and news and features editor at the Lancashire Evening Post. She was also a trainee reporter at Preston and Leyland Reporter.
