BuzzFeed Canada has named Elamin Abdelmahmoud reporter at large. He has been with BuzzFeed for more than seven years.
Previously, Abdelmahmoud served as a social media editor and news curation editor. He worked at online video and audio media as an online producer and social media specialist for current affairs and documentaries.
He worked as a researcher and editorial assistant at CBC/Radio-Canada.
Abdelmahmoud graduated from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada.
