KTRK-TV Ch. 13, ABC’s Houston station, has tapped Shelley Childers to serve as a reporter. Previously, she worked at the station from February 2018 to July 2023 as a journalist.
In between, recently Childers joined Red Pixel Marketing in Texas.
She has also worked as a journalist at Detroit’s ABC station WXYZ-TV Ch. 7, KRGV-TV Ch. 5, an ABC affiliate in Weslaco, Texas, and CBS outlet KOSA-TV Ch. 7 in Odessa, Texas.
An award-winning journalist, Childers has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Michigan State University.
