Catherine Tymkiw

Catherine Tymkiw has years of business and financial journalism experience, starting out as a reporter covering the metals trading industry at Metal Bulletin and Reuters.

She has also worked at CNN for 10 years, joining as a markets and homepage editor. She went on to hold numerous roles at the company, including markets and investing editor, news editor and coverage manager, senior planning and programming editor and senior multiplatform editor.

Separately, she was with Crain’s New York Business for 5 years. She joined as an online reporter and then served as a senior online reporter, before holding the post of online editor.

Currently, she is a self-employed digital content strategist advising start-ups and established brands on best practices for achieving strategic goals
