The Los Angeles Times has promoted Allison Wisk to deputy editor, overseeing the Times’ politics and policy coverage in the Washington bureau. Previously, she held the post of California politics editor.
Prior to joining the Times in 2016, Wisk was with The Dallas Morning News for more than 10 years. There, she served as reporter/assistant editor/senior editor for community news, assistant managing editor for news and community news, department head/editor for community news and deputy political editor.
Wisk graduated from Texas A&M University School of Law.
