Eater has named Stephanie Wu its editor in chief. She will oversee the editorial organization and lead a team of more than 75 writers, editors and video creators across 25 cities in North America and the U.K.
She will also run the publication’s reporting, storytelling and service journalism operation across all formats.
Wu recently served as Eater’s executive editor. She joined last year from Conde Nast Traveler, where she was digital director. She previously held editorial stints at Town & Country – Hearst Magazines, Travel + Leisure and Mic.
Wu co-founded and was editor-at-large of Mochi Magazine, the longest running online publication for young Asian-American women.
Wu has a B.A. from New York University.
