The New York Times’ newsroom development and support team has tapped Henry Torres, an editor at CNN en Español, as a senior editor.
He starts July 11.
At CNN, he edited copy for shows, packages, graphics and more. Torres brings more than 20 years of digital and broadcast journalism to the newsroom. Previously, he worked at El Nuevo Día in Puerto Rico, where he served as a digital content producer, program manager and deputy digital editor.
Torres graduated from the Inter-American University and is pursuing a master’s degree in digital audience strategy from Arizona State University.
