Nadine Yousif, mental health reporter at The Toronto Star has left.
Her Twitter announcement reads, “I am leaving the Star for another reporting role — the details of which I will share here closer to my start date. For now, I’ll be logging off for a bit to spend some quality time with family.”
Previously, she worked for the paper in Edmonton as a health and provincial affairs reporter. She was Western Canada correspondent for Maclean’s Magazine, Canada’s leading current affairs and news publication.
She was part of the Globe and Mail’s summer 2018 program, where she worked as a reporter on the national desk.
Yousif graduated from Carleton University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
