Dave Nordman, who has served as executive editor of the Worcester Telegram & Gazette since 2018, will step down from his post at the end of May. Gannett New England regional editor Lisa Strattan said that search for a replacement has already begun.
Nordman, who also oversees the paper’s sister outlets in Framingham, Milford and Gardner, has accepted a post at Northeastern University.
Nordman started at the Telegram & Gazette in 1995 as a part-time copy editor and freelance writer. Since then, he has risen in ranks and held various posts, including serving as sports editor and deputy managing editor.
Nordman graduated from Assumption College in Worcester.
