Stanworth departs BBC for Sky News

Paul Stanworth

Sky News has appointed Paul Stanworth output editor, podcasts. He joins from the BBC, where he has been working for over 14 years, most recently as acting editor for Newsbeat, BBC’s audio and digital news service for 16-24 year olds.

Before that, he served as deputy editor of the youth brand. Stanworth previously worked at BBC News from 2006 to 2013, serving as a producer/senior producer for Radio 5 Live and then as an assistant editor.

He then spent a year at ITV, where he led a team of reporters and producers to produce news content for the ITV Breakfast output.

Stanworth has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Sheffield.
