The Washington Post has hired Kyley Schultz as an assignment for social. An excerpt from the announcement reads:
“Kyley will lead the dynamic digital team responsible for promoting our most impactful journalism across Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, LinkedIn and other social media platforms. A sharp and talented social mind, Kyley has experience building off-platform communities and growing different types of accounts.”
Recently, Schultz was a national audience engagement editor at VERIFY, a national fact-checking brand that works across 64 news stations to combat misinformation. She worked at WUSA-TV Ch. 9, a CBS affiliate in Washington, D.C., and Gannett | USA Today Network.
Schultz graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.
