Sam Ruland, a digital producer at The Philadelphia Inquirer, has joined its features department as a coverage editor for the Service Team.
Previously, Ruland reported for and was a digital optimization strategist at the New York Daily Record. She freelanced for the Lewistown Sentinel and has reported for and was digital news chief and copy desk chief at The Daily Collegian, the Penn State University student news outlet.
