Rebecca R. Ruiz, an investigative reporter at The New York Times in New York, will join the paper’s London-based team. Ruiz spent 15 years at the Times, during which she was part of a team that won a Pulitzer Prize and a Polk Award.
She joined the Times as a clerk and then became a researcher on Opinion. She worked on nearly every newsroom desk, including a stint in Washington covering the Justice Department. She was also an investigative reporter for Sports.
Ruiz graduated from Cornell University.
