Newsweek has tapped John Fitzpatrick as a weekend editor to commission stories over the weekend. Fitzpatrick will also cover various topics, including U.S. news, science pitches and news related to the U.S. economy.
Fitzpatrick joined from Express.co.uk, where he was deputy news editor. Before that, he was an assistant news editor at The Telegraph, and a news desk reporter and night news editor at Express.co.uk.
Fitzpatrick has a B.A. from the University of East Anglia and a master’s degree in journalism from Kingston University.
