Elizabeth Myong is now a reporter/producer at Arts Access, a new collaboration between The Dallas Morning News and KERA, a PBS/NPR affiliate. Myong’s tweet reads:
“We want to create a space for voices & dialogue that aren’t traditionally heard in arts & culture news. This means I’ll be telling digital, radio and social stories that get at the heart of access and equity in North Texas’ arts and culture landscape. We want to dig deeper into issues that impact the DFW arts community. In our first story, we look at how local arts groups are struggling because audiences have been slow to return to live performances.”
Myong was an assistant digital producer and digital producer at KERA. She was a news fellow at CNBC, where she reported breaking news for the politics and consumer teams.
She freelanced for Houstonia Magazine and the Houston Chronicle, where she also interned.
Myong graduated from Rice University.
Be sure to congratulate Myong via Twitter.
