Omar Garrick, a fan football writer/presenter at Reach plc, has left and joined The Athletic as a junior editor. Previously, he was a freelance sports news journalist at the BBC and a producer at BBC Radio 5 Live.
Garrick worked at the Manchester Evening News and interned at The Independent and PA media alongside the Guardian.
Garrick has a bachelor’s degree from Cardiff University and a M.A. from the University of Sheffield.
