CBS News promotes Schwartz to weekend news manager

CBS News has tapped Marc Schwartz as weekend news manager. Recently, he held the post of assignment editor.

Previously, Schwartz served as a news editor at Al Jazeera American and a production assistant at MSNBC.

Schwartz has a B.A. in journalism from Stony Brook University.
