Atlanta Journal-Constitution taps Minshew as digital storytelling editor

Charles Minshew will be joining the Atlanta Journal-Constitution as a digital storytelling editor. His new role begins on Feb. 1.

Currently, he serves as director of data services for IRE, the world’s largest organization for investigative reporting. There, he helps members produce high-caliber data and watchdog journalism.

His work has also been featured in the Orlando Sentinel, the Los Angeles Times and NPR. His work with interactive maps and timelines was a major part of The Denver Post staff’s Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Reporting in 2013.

Minshew has a B.S. in political science from Georgia Southern University and a M.A. in convergence journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
