Emery named exec editor at Crain’s Staffing Industry Analysts

Chelsea Emery has left the editor in chief position at The Expert Press to become the executive editor at Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), a division of Crain Communications Inc.

In her new role, Emery will lead the development and execution of SIA’s news and editorial products, including daily, weekly, monthly digital and print coverage.

Prior to The Expert Press and SIA, Emery was editor in chief of Financial Planning, the print and digital publication for financial advisors. During her tenure, the brand won the SABEW award for General Excellence and several Neal Awards, including Best Media Brand two years in a row.

Emery was named to the Folio 100 list of influential magazine editors in 2018. She’s also been a reporter and/or editor for Bloomberg News, Reuters and BBC.
