WSJ names new DC reporter

John Bussey, the Washington bureau chief of The Wall Street Journal, sent out the following announcement to the staff on Tuesday:

“I’m pleased to announce that Adam Entous will be joining the Washington bureau to report on national security.

“Adam is currently the military affairs and intelligence correspondent in the Washington bureau of Reuters. He has made his career with Reuters, joining in 1993 to cover markets in New York. He covered economics and general news for the wire service from San Francisco between 1994 and 1997; economics, Congress and international trade from Washington between 1997 and 2000; Congress and the White House from 2000 to 2006; and then Middle East affairs as senior correspondent in Jerusalem, before returning to Washington in 2009.

“Adam has a Masters degree in journalism from Columbia J-school and a B.A. in English from the University of California, Irvine.”
