WSJ hires USA Today’s Gilbertson to be its travel columnist
The Wall Street Journal has hired USA Today senior consumer travel reporter Dawn Gilbertson to be its new travel columnist.
At USA Today, she writes about how to navigate airline fees, fares, refund policies and new routes and also cover and break travel news.
Prior to USA Today, she spent more than two decades as an award-winning airline and business reporter for the Arizona Republic, covering two major airline mergers and the rise of Southwest Airlines and creating the paper’s first consumer travel beat in 2010.
She is a graduate of Syracuse University.
