Texas biz newspaper combines sections

El Paso Inc., a weekly business newspaper in the west Texas city, has combined two of its regular sections into one.

Publisher Tom Fenton writes, “Regular El Paso Inc. readers will notice that this week we begin combining Border Business and Personal Finance into one 20-page section titled ‘Your Money.’

“Don’t worry: No news content is being eliminated as a result. We will continue with stories that offer smart, actionable tips for your personal finance, as well as articles that look at the opportunities and challenges for those who run small businesses.

“We are grateful to Wells Fargo, which helped underwrite the Border Business section for the last 11 years. In terms of marketing campaign life spans, that is an incredibly long run.

“This edition marks the end of the Wells Fargo sponsorship; so we are combining both sections into Your Money, which is sponsored by GECU. The local credit union has been underwriting the Personal Finance section for three years.”
